Southwark Council has caused the desecration of the grave of sixteen month old Madeleine Carlisle, repeatedly driven over by works vehicles, now the headstone removed and all trace of her gone.
The inscription on the child's grave reads:
A Treasured Memory
March 1985 - July 1986
Sleep Baby Sleep
Close your bright eyes
And listen to your mother sing a lullaby
Do you know anyon who might be connected with the grave?
Please contact Councillor Darren Merrill, Environment and Public Realm, in charge of cemeteries:
And the three Ward Councillors Gavin Edwards, Victoria Mills and renata Hamvas:
Do copy in Council Leader Peter John and us if you wish:
Or write to them as you are more likely to get a response:

The so-called pedestrian gate by the way in fact only opens for contractor vehicle access.
