The Old Nursery Site, Honor Oak Park
Public Ideas Competition:
Southwark Council wants to take ANOTHER FOUR ACRES of public inner city Metropolitan Open Land for private burial plots at Honor Oak Park.
The four acre Old Nursery site has never been used for burial. What would YOU like it used for?
The site was originally promised for community play or sports use then ‘swapped’ to ‘save’ Honor Oak Recreation Ground – which Councillors are now refusing to guarantee.
It could be a community orchard, allotments, a forest school, a football pitch or playing fields, a nature reserve...
YOUR ideas will be presented to Southwark on 22nd July.
What would YOU like the site used for?
