300 marched through the 100 acres of beautiful Southwark Woods at Camberwell Old and New Cemeteries - for nature, beauty and community.
300 people gathered to protest the destruction of Southwark Woods. We marched from Camberwell Old Cemetery, over One Tree Hill, through Camberwell New Cemetery and over to Nunhead Cemetery - the 100 Acre Wood.
Southwark council want to fell dozens of mature trees, clear undergrowth and put 6,000 burial plots in our magical Southwark Woods at Camberwell Old and New Cemeteries.
